“Genealogy on the Internet” will be
the topic of a free public seminar offered by the French-Canadian Genealogical
Society of Connecticut at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in its library in the Old
County Courthouse, 53 Tolland Green, in Tolland. Ivan Robinson of Tolland will
offer tips on how to use the Internet to find genealogical information and to
connect with people researching the same name. He will also discuss the 1940
U.S. census, which is on line and is name searchable.. Attendance will be
