Joshua's Land Trust: preserve walk
Come join naturalist Tom Harrington for a walk on the Joshua Trust's Pigeon Swamp Preserve in Lebanon, Connecticut. The walk will start at 10:00 am on Saturday December 7, 2013 and last about 2 hours. We will observe the property and living things. The property's name comes from the fact that, at one time, it likely served as a roosting site for the once-abundant, now extinct Passenger Pigeon. Please dress warmly, depending on the weather.
