Karen Bussolini to present in Tolland

Tolland Garden Paths (TGP) garden club will hold a Harvest Gathering, Sunday, Oct. 20th from 12:30 to 4:00 p.m. at the Lodge at Crandall's Park in Tolland.  The event will include a pot luck luncheon starting at 1:00 and a 2:00 presentation by Karen Bussolini.  Ms. Bussolini's writing and photography appear frequently in Garden Design, House Beautiful, Better Homes and Gardens, The American Gardener, and Connecticut Home and Garden.  She won Garden Writers Association's photography awards in 2001, 2004 and 2007.  Ms. Bussolini's presentation topic is Survival in the Darwinian Garden, Planting the Fittest.  The Harvest Gathering is open to all and offers a chance to gather with old and new friends, enjoy a variety of delicious home cooked foods and share gardenting experiences.  The event is free of charge.  For more information contact Elise Bennett, Tolland Garden Paths Garden Club at elisebennett@hotmail.com or by phone at 860-872-3763.
