RAGE Robotics Pumpkin Chuckin' at Foster Farm

Come see RAGE at our annual Pumpkin Chuckin’ fundraiser and fling a pumpkin 80–100 feet in the air. Each October, Foster Farm in South Windsor welcomes RAGE to its farm to help the team raise money to cover its robotics competition expenses.

For a $5 donation, you may pick out a pumpkin and decorate it any way you like. Once a RAGE team member has loaded it onto the trebuchet, you are handed the release rope. Give it a yank and send your pumpkin hurtling down the field toward the many targets that are set out. Kids of all ages delight in seeing pumpkins fly through the air and smash unceremoniously on the ground.

While there, check out what else Foster Farm has to offer, including two huge corn mazes, rides for kids, pumpkin patch, hayrides, and live animals.
