Tolland Spring Teezer

The fifth annual Tolland Spring Teezer golf tournament will be held on Thursday, May 17 at Blackledge Country Club.  The popular tournament is sponsored by APG Glass and hosted in partnership by Tolland Junior Women and Adam’s Adventure.  The event is a four person scramble that tees off at 10:00 a.m. Valuable prizes will be awarded for overall best score, men’s longest drive, women’s longest drive, closest to the line, and closest to the pin.  There will also be a chance to win $5,000 cash for a hole-in-one.  Many wonderful items will be given away in the raffle.
This is the second year Tolland Junior Women is partnering with Adam’s Adventure to host the tournament, and will donate a significant amount of the profit to their effort.  The mission of Adam’s Adventure is to build a playground where children of all abilities can play freely.  A place where there are no limitations and where there is something for everyone.  The playground will be designed to accommodate not only Mobility Impairments, but also Auditory Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Cognitive Impairments, Visual Disabilities and more.

Tolland Junior Women, Inc. is a 501©3 non-profit civic organization dedicated to helping the community for the past 45 years.  Through scholarships, service projects, and donations to many deserving Tolland, tri-town, and national organizations, they strive to make our community stronger.

Minna DiBella, president of Tolland Junior Women is thrilled to be partnering with Adam’s Adventure for a second year.
