Are you ready yet?
Exactly a year ago, I had to cancel/postpone all my scheduled classes of Nutrition Immersion, cooking classes etc to help take care of my dad. He had just been diagnosed with a bone marrow failure and his prognosis was rather grim. Through family support, lots of treatments and lots of sky miles- he is now at home, feeling good and remembering all the traveling we had done for months.
As I resumed my coaching practice late last year, I knew that it was just a matter of time before I regain the momentum. And now when look back at the last 12 weeks I am amazed how interesting all my experiences have been. I have taught 2 sessions on Nutrition Immersion classes (which helped a number of my students regain control over their health, stop taking medications, feel better, have more energy, lose weight,etc), cooking series at my house, I presented a class on Processed Foods in a Lunch and Learn event at a large company in Hartford, I taught a Cancer class, few Detox classes and lastly I taught a Healthy Cooking Class at a Community College in Enfield.
My passion for teaching along with my passion for nutrition collided with my passion for disease prevention and all that created a perfect storm of knowledge, empowerment, and deep understanding of true wellbeing. The word about my classes is spreading and my past students are sharing with their loved ones how they were impacted by taking charge of their health. It seems that the upcoming session starting in a week will be the largest yet. It gives me a tremendous joy to know that one person at a time, one class at a time I am using my life to better the lives of others.

As This Valentines Days is coming to an end- I am sending Love to everyone who needs it today and forever. I am thinking of all my family members, my friends, my past, present and future students, and sending you Love. But most of all, I am sending Love to all the cells of my body with a gratitude for always being there for me. And as a token of my appreciation, my dearest cells, please accept those big gulps of the greenest, most nutritious, superb tasting, ginger infused vegetable juice.

Starts : February 25- Tuesdays 7 pm- 8:30 pm
or Febrary 27- Thursdays 9 am- 10:30pm
Detox Class
April 4 - Friday at 11 am
OR April 5 - Saturday at 11 am
guidance and suppport for detox ofered after detox class
Understanding cancer and prevention
3 classes - Saturdays- March 1st , 8th, and 15th 11 am- 1 pm
Classes held at Breathe More Yoga studio in Tolland CT
Iwona Leger, RN, MSN, Certified Health Coach, founded Love and Peas Health Coaching and runs individual and group coaching sessions. She is very passionate about disease prevention, lifestyle and diet modifications, as well as stress reduction techniques.
