Notice to the Public!

In the past few weeks there has been huge rise in fraudulent behavior in real estate. Here's how it works: IF your home/condo is for sale, someone steals the identity of the owner and property and posts your home/condo for rent on Craigslist – without you knowing until it’s too late. They seek potential renters for your property and promise keys after they get a check. RED FLAGS: 1) They say they are a “general” or a “pastor” or something to that effect; 2) There’s no lease/rental agreement; 3) There’s no credit check asked of the renter; 3) The phone number they give and communicate with is a Google number and untraceable; 4) The potential renter NEVER SEES THE PLACE! (Ugh!) Please be aware and pass along. If you are a potential renter, work with a real estate agent!
