Vote No May 6th!
I can't believe any one in this town is against a solid education for our children, as a recent letter to the editor suggested. We are not blindly voting No because we are greedy and self centered! We are simply looking for our Town Leaders to show fiscal responsibility. When you have a drastically declining enrollment in our schools, virtually no growth in the grand list and one of the highest per capital tax burdens in the state- something has to give. Add to that, a business environment in Connecticut where many Tolland citizens are still receiving very small or no increases in their salaries and you can understand the taxpayer's concern!
