Students from the Tolland High School World Language Club had the audience doing the French version of Simon Says, in between a Spanish language version of Curious George, and a French translation of Good Night Moon, on Saturday, Feb. 1st, at Tolland Public Library. Allison Aviles, Jordan Shea, Nick Ravalese, Grace Lavertu, Aiyla Zahid and Genna Hoyt transformed the library program room with international flags, then presented several classic picture books in Spanish and French. Attending families also had fun with the international crafts provided, such as making Mexican paper flowers (Flores Mexicana). Children's librarian Mrs. Brousseau hopes to have the Club back for another
international event soon!
