84 East Reopened After Early Morning Accident

Tolland Fire Department crews spent the better part of the morning on the interstate after responding to the tractor trailer accident.

All three lanes of Interstate 84 East between exits 67 and 68 have reopened after an early morning accident involving a tractor-trailer littered the highway with debris, according to a fire official

No one was injured during the accident, which occurred a little after 4 a.m. and just before the Mt. Spring overpass, Chief John Littell said in an early morning release.

Because of a fluid leak the state departments of transportation and environmental protection were called to the scene to help assist in the cleanup, according to Channel 3.
