Tolland Green was shut down momentarily last Friday to honor the public service of Tolland resident and former state trooper John Foley, who passed away on Dec. 10, according to his obituary.

Tolland Patch reader Tom Calabrese snapped photos of the procession making its way through the Green to honor Foley's service.
