Car, truck collide on I-84 on Wednesday Morning
Two lanes were blocked for more than an hour.
The Tolland Fire Department was on the scene of a crash just after 7:30 this morning on Interstate-84.
Public Safety Supervisor John Littell said a car collided with a tractor-trailer on the eastbound side of the highway.
The car rolled over in the high-speed lane and was blocking the left and center lanes when firefighters arrived, he said. Emergency crews were able to extricate the driver from the vehicle and she was transported to Hartford hospital, he said.
Her injuries were unknown.
Littell said there was very little damage to the tractor trailer. Two lanes of the interstate remained shut down for more than an hour.
