Hurricane Sandy: Calling All Tolland Volunteers

Emergency Management Director John Littell said that town staff members are compiling a contact list of potential volunteers.

It's too early to tell how hard Hurricane Sandy will hit Tolland, but Emergency Management Director John Littell is asking Tolland residents who are willing to volunteer during the recovery process to send in their contact information.

Littell encourages residents who are willing to answer EOC phones, distribute supplies or have otherwise specialized skills to send in an email so that a list of volunteers can be created.

If you would like to be added to the list, email btanner@tolland.org with your name, phone numbers and details on how you want to help. Please write "Storm Sandy" in the subject line.
