The motorcycle struck the passenger side of another vehicle near the I-84 onramp, Littell said.

Littell added that LifeStar was initially called to the scene, but was canceled after Tolland first responders arrived quickly on the scene. The injured man was transferred into the care of Manchester paramedics near Exit 67 on I-84, and he was then taken to Hartford Hospital, Littell said.

Littell said that the other driver and passenger refused medical treatment.

Traffic may be slow on Route 195 for the next hour or so as state police conduct an accident reconstruction. The accident is still under investigation.
