Rhodes Road Closed Due to Downed Wires

A utility pole snapped after a car accident earlier in the day, according to Fire Chief John Littell.

Rhodes Road has reopened.

Rhodes Road may be closed until 11 p.m. or later due to wires on the road after a car accident earlier in the day, according to Fire Chief John Littell.

Littell said that the accident snapped the utility pole. He said that the driver exited the vehicle prior to the fire department's arrival.

CL&P is currently working on replacing the pole, Littell said.
