Three Tolland Water Systems Under Boil Advisory

The Department of Public Health recommends that residents on these systems boil their drinking and cooking water.

The Connecticut Department of Public Health has issued boil advisories for the following Tolland water systems:

  • BAXTER FARMS COMMUNITY WATER ASSOC, TOLLAND
  • WOODLAND SUMMIT COMMUNITY WATER ASSN, TOLLAND
  • STONE POND CONDOMINIUMS, TOLLAND

According to the DPH website, residents should bring their water to a rolling boil for one minute and ensure that there are no floating pieces in the water before boiling it.

It is recommended that water is boiled that will be used for drinking, cooking, washing fruits or vegetables or for brushing your teeth.
