Tolland Fire Department Responds to I-84 Crash
The department responded to a double tractor-trailer accident that temporarily closed down both lanes of I-84 East early this morning.
Tolland first responders were called early Wednesday morning to a double tractor-trailer accident on I-84 East between exits 68 and 69 that temporarily shut down both lanes, according to Fire Chief and Director of Public Safety John Littell.
Littell said that the state DOT also responded to clear up a resulting oil and antifreeze spill on the highway, and that one of the drivers was taken to the hospital. He said that both trailers were towed.
Troop C confirms that the highway is now clear.
