Tolland Man Charged After Restaurant Incident

The incident was on Monday, police said.

A Tolland man was charged with second-degree breach of peace by Vernon police on Monday after a dinnertime disturbance at a popular restaurant, according to an arrest report. 

A Vernon police canine unit that happened to be on duty was summoned to the Ninety-Nine Restaurant off Route 30 at 6:30 p.m., according to an arrest report. Police said the disturbance was domestic in nature. 

Jeremiah Rivera, 31, of 98 Apple Rd., Tolland, was taken into custody, police said. 

He was released on a $5,000 bond and was to appear in court on Tuesday, police said.
