Tolland Police Blotter: April 26-May 2

The following arrest and other police activity reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of May 3, 2013. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

April 28  

A 43-year-old Oxford woman was traveling on I-84 westbound in Tolland, prior to exit 67 in Vernon, while towing a 26-foot camping trailer. She lost control over her vehicle when the trailer began to fishtail and subsequently rolled over a minimum of three times coming to a final rest, right side up, in the grassy right shoulder area of the roadway. All four occupants of the vehicle sustained minor lacerations to their arms and legs. The woman complained of pain to her entire left side and as a precaution was transported by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital. The other three passengers - a 45-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys - were transported by Tolland Ambulance to Hartford Hospital with minor injuries. No other vehicles were involved. No other injuries were reported. 

April 29

A residence on South River Road and a residence on Walbridge Hill Road were burglarized between the hours of 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. Contact the Tolland Resident Trooper’s Office at 860-875-8911 with any information regarding these crimes.

May 2

Selena Ham, 27, of 46 Faith Cir. in Manchester, was transported from York Correctional Institution to Rockville Superior Court so that an active arrest warrant could be served. A trooper placed Ham under arrest on an active arrest warrant issued by the court for three counts of sixth-degree larceny for an incident on North River Road in Tolland. She was processed and held on a $5,000 bond. Ham was turned back over to the state marshals to be presented to the court. On the same day, Ham was also charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny for an incident on Route 190 in Stafford. For that case, she was processed and held on a $2,500 bond.
