Tolland Police Blotter: April 27 - May 4

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of May 4, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

April 27

Police are investigating the possible theft of a yellow 2007 Con-AM ATV from an unlocked storage building at 80 Sandy Dr. sometime between April 3 and April 27. If you have information about the missing ATV please call Troop C state police at (860) 896-3200.

Francisco Ruiz, 25, of Rockville, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, breach of peace and third-degree assault after an altercation on the side of Interstate 84 west near exit 69.

April 28

A verbal altercation with neighbors over a goat resulted in one man being charged with breach of peace and violating a town livestock ordinance. Marc A. Fecteau, 41, of 675 Old Stafford Road, began arguing with his neighbors after his goat wandered into the neighbors' yard. When the argument escalated to include threats, police were called and Fecteau was charged.

Kevin Kulpa, 36, of 29 Elgin Dr., was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and failure to obey a stoplight. He was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on May 9.

April 29

Jacob M. Nowak, 22, of 127 Dockerel Rd., was charged with reckless driving and failure to maintain the proper lane when he lost control of his car on Mile Hill Road and struck a mailbox and then a utility pole. Nowak was taken to Rockville General Hospital for evaluation where he was treated and release. Nowak is scheduled to appear in court in Rockville on May 14.

Jason L. Myslenski, 25, of East Windsor, was charged with attempt to commit sixth-degree larceny and criminal trespass for an incident at NES Steel on Gerber Drive in Tolland. Myslenski was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on May 7.

State Police are investigating the theft of a wallet from an unlocked locker at Cardio Express. If you have information about the incident please call Troop C at (860) 896-3200.

May 2

A juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than one half of one ounce of marijuana when police were called Tolland High School after a student was fond in possession of a glass smoking pipe and a small amount of marijuana. The unidentified 16-year-old student is scheduled to appear in juvenile court in Rockville on May 8.
