December 22
Tyler Mathieu, 22, of 235 Mountain Spring Road in Tolland was charged with speeding and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, according to police. Police report that Mathieu was clocked by radar traveling 59 mph in a posted 40 mph zone on Route 190 in Stafford.
December 23
Michael Szemreylo, 34, of 496 Gehring Road in Tolland was charged with operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused/suspended/revoked, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and failure to drive right, according to police. Police report that Szemreylo was driving south on Goose Lane when his car crossed into the opposite lane and hit a mailbox. Bond was set at $50,000.
