December 7
Kristy M. Lambert, 21, of 43 Easton Road, Tolland, was charged with risk of injury to a minor, third-degree assault and disorderly conduct during an incident in Stafford. She was released on a $5,000 bond and appeared in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 10.

Jason S. Newbury, 41, of 3 Canterbury St., East Hartford, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order. He was held on a $35,000 bond and appeared in Rockville Superior Court on Dec. 10.
A Brooklyn, NY, man was cited for failing to grant the right of way at an intersection when state police responded to a two-car accident on Route 195 near the exit 68 on ramp to Interstate 84. According to police, Long Cheung, 49, made a left-hand turn in front of a vehicle being driven by David Victorino, 41, of Tolland. Cheung struck the front bumper of Victorino's car. No injuries were reported.

December 11
James F. McDermott, 23, of Coventry, was charged with interferring with a police officer after refusing to provide police with information about a possibly suicidal friend.
