Tolland Police Blotter: June 10-16

June 9
Scott P. Gorman, 42, of 104 Cook Rd., Tolland was charged with interfering with an officer, disorderly conduct and third-degree assault. Gorman was arrested after police investigated a complaint of domestic violence. Bail was set at $5,000.

June 10
Kevin Scully, 21, of 153 Hazel Plain Rd., Woodbury, CT, was charged with operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs, making a restricted turns/failure to properly grant right of way and using a cell phone while operating a moving vehicle. Scully was arrested after he was observed driving erratically on Route 195. Bail was set at $500.

June 11
Wesley A. Palmiero, 18, of 50 Highland Rd., Mansfield was arrested on two charges of violation of probation. Palmiero was arrested at 1320 Tolland Stage Rd., Tolland. Bail was set at $5,000.
June 15
Sean Dougherty, 24, of 303 Sugar Hill Rd., Tolland was arrested for operating under the influence of alcohol or drugs, having weapons in a motor vehicle and breach of peace. Police arrested Dougherty after responding to the Cumberland Farms gas station on River Road in Stafford. It was reported than an unresponsive man was holding what appeared to be a gun while sitting in a car. Dougherty was placed under arrest for breach of peace. Further investigation resulted in the above charges. Bail was set at $1,500.
A Tolland resident crashed into a utility pole on Mile Hill Road in Tolland. Rhiannon Pearson of Tolland drifted into the right shoulder of the road before crashing. No injuries were reported, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
June 16
Tolland resident Charles Fredrick was involved in an accident on Slater Road. Fredrick was driving southbound on Slater Road when his car left the road and crashed into a large rock. He was issued an infraction for failing to maintain an established land and operating an unregistered motor vehicle. No injuries were reported.
