June 22
William Wilfred Lavallee, 30, of 183 Maple Street in Manchester was charged with risk of injury/impairing the morals of children: child selling, according to police, for an incident that occurred on Goose Lane. Police report that Lavallee turned himself in on a warrant.

David Krzystoph Masiukiewicz, 32, of 155 West Main Street, Apartment 469 in Vernon was charged with reckless driving, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and restricted turns/failure to give properly/grant right of way, according to police. Police report that he was seen driving faster than 85 mph on I-84 in Tolland.

Police responded to a one-car accident on I-84 in Tolland when a West Hartford resident driving in the left lane tried to avoid debris in the roadway and lost control of the car, hitting the center median barrier, police report. The car was severely damaged, but no injuries were reported, police said. towed the car from the scene.
June 25
Tolland resident Debbie Deroy was involved in a two-car accident in Mansfield when her car was struck from behind when she slowed for traffic on Storrs Road, police said. No injuries were reported.
June 26
Police responded to a one-car accident on Mile Hill Road after Tolland resident Christopher Stewart traveled off the right shoulder and hit a wire rope guard rail, police report. Stewart was issued a written warning for a restricted turn, according to police.
June 28
Police responded to a for I-84 in Tolland after a deer ran into Ashford resident Scott Hitchcock's motorcycle, police report. According to police, Hitchcock was thrown from the bike and was taken to Hartford Hospital for non life threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.
