Tolland Police Blotter: June 29 - July 6

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of July 6, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

June 30

Peter Henry Griffiths, 22, of 109 Dockerel Road in Tolland was charged with operation of motor vehicle when registration or license is refused/suspended/revoked, traveling unreasonably fast, evading responsibility: motor vehicle and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, according to police.

Police said that Griffiths was traveling on Old Post Road when he took a turn too quickly and ended up driving across a lawn, hitting the mailbox at 471 Old Post Road. He continued through a wooden fence belonging to 189 Mountain Spring Road, across a pasture, through a second stone fence and then evaded the scene, police report. According to police, he was found, uninjured, 45 minutes later. towed the vehicle, police report.

Justin William Lee, 18, of 294 Tolland Stage Road in Tolland, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, according to police. Police report that Lee was seen driving on a field at . He was stopped on Old Post Road, police said.

Alex Gerrow, 22, of 57 Bald Hill Road in Tolland was charged with failure to respond, according to police.

July 4

Roy Webber, 61, of 45 Center Street, Apartment C, in Stafford, was charged with traveling too fast, failure to drive right and operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, according to police. Police report that Webber was stopped on Route 195 in Tolland.

Douglas Plourd, 41, of 52 Anderson Road, Tolland, is facing a DUI charge after a traffic stop on Wednesday evening, police said.

He was pulled over at 7:42 p.m. on Reservoir Road near exit 67 off Interstate-84, according to the police call log. The initial charge was for driving in an improper lane, police said. He was also charged with failure to have the proper insurance, police said. 

July 5

Jason John Myslenski, 25, of 90 Prospect Hill Road in East Windsor was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny, according to police. Police report that Myslenski was arrested on an active warrant for an April incident on Gerber Drive in Tolland.
