March 6

Bruce M. Beebe, 52, of 1319 Tolland Stage Road was charged with possession of firearms in violation of a protective order, according to police. Police report that Tolland resident state troopers arrested Beebe after responding to a disturbance at town hall and discovering that Beebe was in violation of the protective order. Bond was set at $10,000.

Police responded to a one-car accident on Grahaber Road after Enfield resident James Shearn lost control of his car and struck the stone wall in front of 178 Grahaber Road, police report. No injuries were reported. Shearn was issued an infraction for restricted turn, according to police.

Police responded to a on I-84 in Tolland. Ashford resident Dudley Cooper was driving on I-84 eastbound when he lost consciousness and drove off the right shoulder, according to police. There were no children on the bus at the time.

The front end of the bus was severely damaged, and Cooper was taken to Rockville General Hospital for minor injuries, police report. Cooper was issued an infraction for failure to maintain proper lane, according to police.
