Tolland Police Blotter: May 12 - 17

The following arrest reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of May 18, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

May 12

Brenden C. Arey, 30, of Bristol, was charged with criminal impersonation after being stopped on Interstate 84 in Vernon and providing police with a false identification. Arey turned himself in to Troop C and was released on a $1,000 bond. Arey is scheduled to appear in Rockville Superior Court on May 30.

Archie I. Hurn, 25, of Hartford, was charged with driving with a suspended license, misusing marker plates, driving an unregistered motor vehicle and driving a vehicle with dark tinted windows.

May 17

Brian Sweet, 32, of 45 Columbine Road, was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace. Sweet was presented in Rockville Superior Court on May 17 and held on a $5,000 bond. He was then transported back to the MacDougal-Walker Correctional Institute where he is currently being held on unrelated charges.
