Nichole Martorelli, 25, of 15 Clinton St. in Stafford Springs was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and failure to maintain lane, according to police. Police report that Martorelli was traveling on Tolland Stage Road when she veered off the roadway and hit a speed limit sign. State police then administered field sobriety tests. No injuries were reported.

May 10

Tolland resident Geoffrey Michael Warwick was involved in a two-car accident in Ellington, according to police. Police report that Warwick was traveling on Crystal Lake Road when Ellington resident Richard Bourbeau Jr. backed out of his driveway, colliding with Warwick. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed, police report.

Tolland resident Karen Finik was involved in a two-car accident in Stafford, police report. According to police, Finik was looking for something in her car while driving on West Street and struck a car driving on the other side of the road. No injuries were reported. Police report that Finik was found at fault for failure to drive right.

Finik was also involved in a separate accident when she backed into an unoccupied vehicle parked on West Street, while trying to get out of the way of traffic, according to police. She was found to be at fault for unsafe backing, according to police.
