December 2

Rebecca Klingensmith, 22, of 558 Elmwood Avenue in Uxbridge, MA, was charged with operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, making an improper turn and driving the wrong way on a one-way highway, according to police. She was seen driving erratically on I-84 near exit 68 in Tolland, police said.

Police responded to a one-car accident on I-84 in Tolland when Boston resident Shara Davis lost control of her car, which rolled over, police said. No injuries were reported. 

December 3

Police responded to a one-car accident on I-84 in Tolland when Vermont resident Naomi Morse attempted to change lanes and collided with a jersey barrier in the center median, police said. No injuries were reported. Morse was issued a written warning for unsafe lane change, according to police.

December 4

Police responded to a two-car accident on Tolland Stage Road when Tolland resident Rebecca Pariseau failed to stop in time for a car in front of her that had slowed for another vehicle turning into a driveway, police report. Pariseau swerved and the driver's side mirror struck the back of the car in front of her, police said. She was issued a misdemeanor summons for having no insurance and for following too close, according to police.

December 7

Police responded to a multi-vehicle accident involving two tractor trailers on I-84 westbound in Tolland, police said. According to the police report, as the first vehicle came over the crest of a hill in the right lane, it swerved and tried to avoid the car in front of it, which had slowed to a rolling stop. The first vehicle hit the car in the right lane and then struck another vehicle in the center lane, police report. Both of those vehicles then hit a fourth car in the left lane before all three came to a final rest against a median jersey barrier, police said. No injuries were reported.
