Tolland Police Blotter: Nov. 9 - 16

The following arrest and other police activity reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of November 16, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

November 9

Police responded to a fight between two male students at Tolland High School, police report. According to police, the 14-year-old and 16-year-old were charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct.

November 13

Eric Rawson, 21, of 30 Henry Street in Manchester was charged with speeding on the highway up to 85 mph, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol and failure to drive in the proper lane, according to police. Rawson was stopped near exit 68 on I-84 in Tolland, police said.

Police responded to a two-car accident on Goose Lane after Coventry resident Betty Hanak struck the car in front of her, which had stopped for an ambulance, according to police. No injuries were reported, and Hanak was issued a written warning for failure to drive at a reasonable distance, police said.

Police responded to a two-car accident on Route 195 when Somers resident Lauren Kuda pulled out of 200 Merrow Road and struck the car driven by Tolland resident Gail Blais, police said. Minor injuries were reported.

Alison Feehan, 20, of 139 Rockledge Drive in South Windsor was charged with improper registration/license/other than one issued, speeding car, operating under the influence of drugs/alcohol, failure to drive in proper lane, unsafe backing and improper use of high beam of light, according to police. Police said she was seen driving erratically along I-84 near exit 68 in Tolland.
