Tolland Police Blotter: October 21 - 28

October 27

Tolland resident Charlotte Hunter was involved in a two-car accident after a South Windsor resident struck her car on Route 195 in Tolland. The South Windsor driver was found at fault and issued a written warning, according to police.

Police responded to a car accident on Route 195 near Tolland Big Y. A Willington resident was stopped at a red light when an Oakdale resident struck the back of the first vehicle. No injuries were reported, although the first vehicle was towed by Tolland Citgo, according to police.

October 28

Two Tolland residents were involved in an accident on Route 195. Michael Devanney was driving on Route 195 and had entered the opposing lane of traffic to attempt to pass a trash truck, according to police, when he collided with Joanna Manzo's car. Both vehicles were driven from the scene, and no one was injured. Police said that Devanney was issued a written warning for failure to drive in the proper lane.
