Tolland Police Blotter: Sept. 28 - Oct. 5

The following arrest and other police activity reports, provided by Connecticut State Police Troop C in Tolland, are accurate as of October 5, 2012. Items on this list reflect charges filed, not convictions.

September 28

Police responded to a two-car accident on Tolland Stage Road near Old Stafford Road, after Tolland resident Travis Michaud's car was stuck head on, police said. Minor injuries were reported. 

A Tolland minor was involved in a car accident after hitting a stone wall off of Rhodes Road, police said. There were no injuries reported, but the driver was issued an infraction for traveling too fast for the conditions, according to police.

Jeffrey Oller, 21, of 150 Noah Lane in Tolland was charged with second-degree criminal mischief and breach of peace, according to police. Police report that Oller started yelling and screaming after he was not allowed to join a gathering on Charles Street, to which he was not invited. He kicked the front storm door of the house, causing damage, police said. Bond was set at $1,000.

Michael Curtis, 37, of 525 Bebbington Road, Ashford was charged with driving while under the influence, according to police. Police report that Curtis was driving on Route 195 in  Tolland when his car left the roadway and hit a rock wall. The car was moderately damaged and was towed from the scene, according to the police press release. Police report that during the investigation, it was discovered that Curtis had been drinking prior to operating his vehicle and that he did not pass standard field sobriety tests.

Jeffrey Oller, 21, of 150 Noah Lane in Tolland, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass and breach of peace after police were dispatched to the Tavern House Grill bar on Route 195 for a disturbance report, police said. 

October 1

Police searched for a burglary suspect after a man was interrupted while breaking into a home on Shenipsit Lake Road. Read the full story on the search here.

October 2

Police are investigating after a house on Buff Cap Road was burglarized on October 1. Jewelry was taken from the home, police said.

Police responded to a two-car accident at the intersection of Old Post Road and Mountain Spring Road. Both drivers were taken to Rockville Hospital for evaluation. Read the full story here.

Kristy Sullivan, 36, of 14 Highland Avenue in Vernon was charged with sixth-degree larceny, credit card theft by transfer and illegal use of a credit card, according to police. Police said that Sullivan was charged after the Tolland Resident State Trooper's Office conducted an investigation about an incident on Shenipsit Lake Road. Bond was set at $2,500.
