A Tolland Man was taken into custody in Monday after state police received an emergency call after a verbal altercation between two brothers escalated into a physical altercation, police said.
Kevin Dougherty, 21, of 303 Sugar Hill Road, was charged with disorderly conduct, and second-degree assault, police said.
The other brother was transported to Rockville General Hospital for unspecified injuries, police said.
