Tolland Woman Arrested On Warrant After Vernon Accident
Charged with failing to carry the proper insurance.
A Tolland woman who was involved in a motor vehicle crash in Vernon last month is now in trouble for not having adequate insurance, Vernon police said.
Police said that, on Monday, they notified Tamara West, 46, of 351 Shenipsit Road, Tolland, that a warrant had been issued for her arrest. She reported to the Vernon Police Department at 8:20 Monday night to answer the charge of failing to carry the proper insurance.
The crash took place on Feb. 11, police said.
She was released on a written promise to appear in Vernon Superior Court on March 28.
