Tolland Woman Charged with Heroin Possession

Sarah Liappes, of 763 Tolland Stage Road, was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia during a police surveillance operation late last week, police report.

According to a press release, officers received a tip that Liappes, 29, would be selling heroin at the Irving Gas Station on Route 5 in South Windsor.

Police said that Liappes stopped at the station on September 21 in a gray Acura, and that officers seized heroin and needles from the car.

According to the release, she has been arrested by the East Central Narcotics Task Force in the past. Bond was set at $10,000.
