Training to Use Tolland's New Tree Truck

Public works employees and fire department members were certified to operate a bucket truck during a training session on Tuesday.

The next time a maintenance or emergency situation calls for the use of Tolland's newly purchased tree truck, there will certainly be a town employee available to operate the truck!

Tolland's public works and public safety employees were trained and certified to operate a tree truck on Tuesday, said Public Works Director Clem Langlois, Jr.

He said the training was completed using trucks donated by New England Arborist Tree Care with no cost to the town.
