Troop C Blotter: Period Ending Oct. 3

Vernon

Oct. 1

Jonathan R. Hauzeur, 22, 148 Hebron Rd., Marlborough, was charged with second-degree failure to appear after police took him into custody on Park Road in Vernon on Oct. 1. Hauzeur was held on a $250 bond and is scheduled to appear in Danielson Superior Court on Oct. 15.

Oct. 2

Nicholas D. Rose, 29, 1170 Hartford Turnpike, Apt. D44, Vernon, was charged with third-degree burglary and fourth-degree larceny in connection to an incident on Whispering Pines Road in Stafford on March 27. Rose was taken into custody on Oct. 2 and was held on a $2,500 surety bond. He was due in Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 3. 

Wayne McCook, 35, 65 Highgate Rd., Apt. B3, Newington, was charged with reckless driving and a failure to notify a change of registration after police pulled him over on the Wilbur Cross Highway in Vernon driving at excessively high speeds, police said in a news release. McCook was held on a $500 bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 28.

Ellington

Oct. 2

Kevin Smith, 28, 13 Talcott Ave., Vernon, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a refused license and driving with a plate violation after police said he was pulled over for an equipment violation on Route 83 in Ellington on Oct. 2. Smith was held on a $1,000 non-surety bond and is due in Rockville Superior Court on Oct. 15.
