Troop C has charged an Ashford man with two crimes in relation to a June sexual assault complaint out of Mansfield involving a 14-year-old girl, according to an arrest report.
Nathan Kehoe, 18, on Sunday was charged with risk of injury to a child and second-degree sexual assault involving consent and no force - statutory rape, according to an arrest report. He lives at 94 Krapf Rd. in Ashford, police said. He was to appear in Rockville Superior Court on Monday, according to an arrest report.
The report indicates that, on June 17 at 11:04 p.m., troopers were dispatched to a residence on Stafford Road in Mansfield for a reported sexual assault. Troopers investigated the matter and determined there was probable cause to arrest Kehoe for having consensual sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl, according to an arrest report.
A warrant was then applied for at Rockville Superior Court, police said. Kehoe surrendered at Troop C on Sunday at 3:50 p.m., according to an arrest report.
