Dec. 6

Troop C is investigating a residential burglary that took place on Ketchbrook Lane during the evening hours, according to a report. 

Several items were taken, including a safe, money, electronics and jewelry, state police said.

Somers

Dec. 6

Todd Kosinski, 43, of 627 Taylor Rd., Ellington, was charged with third-degree forgery, state police said.

He was involved in a car crash on Pinney Road and state police discovered an active warrant for his arrest out of Branford, according to a report. He was transferred to Branford police, according to a report. 

Willington 

Dec. 6. 

State police are investigating a residential burglary on Schofield Road.
 
The burglar entered the address through a rear door, state police said.

Mansfield

Dec. 6

Andrew Colter, 25, of Ridgefield, was charged with speeding, driving under the influence and failure to drive in the proper lane, state police said.

He failed a series of field sobriety tests after being stopped on Route 32, state police said.

Dec. 7

Ty Wiegel, 37, of South Windham, was charged with third-degree criminal trespass, and sixth-degree larceny, state police said.

He was found in close proximity to where someone was trying to enter parked vehicles, state police said.

Vernon

Dec. 7

Mark Wujek, 38, of 166 Ludlow Rd., Windsor, was charged with DUI, failure to drive in the proper lane, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than a half-ounce of cannabis after a traffic stop at 1:35 a.m., state police said. 

He was traveling on Interstate-84, state police said.

He failed a series of field sobriety tests after being stopped, state police said. 

Tolland 

Dec. 8

Patrick Bundy, 23, of 67 Autumn Dr., Tolland, was charged with traveling at an unreasonable speed, disobeying the signal of an officer, DUI, and a stop sign violation at 1:11 a.m. on his road, state police said.

He failed a series of field sobriety tests and was arrested, state police said.
