A "large number" of burglaries have been reported in various locations throughout town, state police said on Tuesday.
The burglars pick a neighborhood and go from car-to-car, state police said. If a car is unlocked, the burglars rummage through it, state police said.
The burglaries have been taking place at various times, state police said.
