A Mountain of Storm Debris

The collected debris from the October snowstorm has been chipped and is headed to Ellington's Green Cycle.

It's taken several months, but the debris from the is on its way out of Tolland, according to Public Works Operations Manager Clem Langlois, Jr. 

Crews have been chipping the debris pile at , which is now ready to be turned into mulch at Green Cycle in Ellington. Langlois said that the business will then sell the mulch.

Langlois estimates that the pile adds up to over 16,000 cubic yards of debris.
