Belsito Already Meeting and Greeting

The new 53rd District state representative was elected about a month ago.

State Rep. Sam Belsito has certainly been making the rounds since being elected about a month ago.

The 53rd District Republican has already conducted three meet-and-greet sessions.

During his first town hall meeting in Tolland, he was joined by state Rep. Timothy Ackert, a Republican from the 8th District.

Meetings that took place in Ashford and Willington were co-hosted by state Sen. Tony Guglielmo, R-35.

Residents in the audience were given informational handouts on the major legislation passed during the General Assembly’s 2013 Legislative Session. The pamphlets also included information and statistics on Connecticut’s economy and financial condition.

The 53rd District includes Ashford, Tolland and Willington.
