Mr. Scrooge take notice - the Tolland Town Council had formally canceled its meeting scheduled for Dec. 24.
There is no business pressing enough to conduct a meeting on Christmas Eve, a town official said. Dec. 24 falls on the every-other-Tuesday schedule.
A Dec. 17 meeting date was unofficially bantered about by some at Tuesday's council meeting, but a town official said nothing is being scheduled for next week.
That would make the next scheduled council meeting on Jan. 14.
