Meeting Slated for Motor Vehicle Assessment Appeals
The meeting is for motor vehicle tax appeals only.
The Tolland Board of Assessment Appeals will be meeting this month for the purpose of hearing appeals on the October 1, 2012 Motor Vehicle Grand List.
A meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the sixth floor of the Hicks Municipal Center.
Town officials said no appointment is necessary for the hearing. Taxpayers are asked to bring documentation to support any appeal. The meeting is only for those who wish to appeal the assessment of their motor vehicles. Real estate and personal property appeals take place in March.
