Tolland Gets New Engineer, Rec Secretary

James Luczak is coming over from Enfield and Kim Grimes is coming back.

Town Manager Steven Werbner has announced two personnel moves in his latest report to the Town Council.

James Luczak has been named Town Engineer, effective on Sept. 30.

Luczak has an undergraduate and graduate degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University and more than 20 years of experience in the engineering field, Werbner said.

Most Recently, Luczak served as a civil/environmental engineer in Enfield, Werbner said.

Prior to that, he owned an engineering firm. He began his career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service as an engineer.

Luczak also has experience in inland wetlands regulations, federal and state grant applications, AUTOCAD and GIS, Werbner said.

Werber said that former employee Kim Grimes has been recalled into the position of "administrative secretary II" at the Recreation Department.
