The grace period for the first of two Tolland tax payment installments ends on Wednesday, August 1, according to the tax collector's office.
Residents can drop off the payments at the tax collector's office, which is , in the previous planning and development office.
Taxes can also be , or placed in the drop boxes at Hicks Memorial before 4:30 p.m. on August 1. Any bills put in the box later than 4:30 p.m. will not be picked up until Thursday morning and will automatically be considered late.

Bills were sent out at the end of June, according to the tax collector's office.
Residents can choose to pay in two installments, if their taxes amount to more than $100. The second payment is due January 1, with a month grace period of February 1.
According to the town website, 15,724 motor vehicle bills, 735 personal property bills and 6,078 real estate bills were included in the latest grand list.
