Town of Tolland Recognized for Financial Reporting Excellence
The Government Finance Officers Association has honored Tolland with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting.
The Town of Tolland's fiscal year 2010-2011 annual financial report was honored with a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association, according to Town Manager Steven Werbner.
Werbner said that the town has won the award multiple times in recent years.
"The Town Finance Department should be commended for their continued efforts to produce financial records which are clear, concise and accurate as reflected by the positive audits we have received over the years," Werbner said in an email to Tolland Patch.
