The Choice for President: a Simple Survey.

Should President Obama be kept, retrained or fired? A simple survey.

We have a choice in November. We need to look at the job that President Obama has done and decide what it is we want or should do.

Consider you are a manager and your decisions affect yourself and many others in your business. There is an employee that was assigned a series of tasks he agreed to and wanted to tackle, and those tasks were to be completed based upon his own comments within a 4-year period. You also provided the employee all the resources possible, and a group that would 100% support his efforts in the first two years. The second 2 years his support would be reduced by one-half.  His performance will directly affect your ability to progress in this enterprise.

It is review time. The tasks as set out are mixed, some are completed, some are in progress, some are still not close to implementation, and some have not been considered.  What do you do:

A.) Do you keep him on the payroll because he did a great job?,

B.) Do you decide he needs more retraining and hope for the best?,

C.) Do you give him a pink slip for failing?

Choose one in the comments and tell us why you made the choice.  Stay on topic, please.

Well said Randy. The President isn't just a CEO position. Our government is a system of checks and balances. If things don't get done after the President keeps pushing them to do so, perhaps the focus of the article should be on the Tea Party, focused on obstruction, not governing.

Your premises are way off and let the GOP off the hook for obstruction. First, the President has gotten much done in four years. He got the country out of the nose dive (my 401K isn't losing thousands by the week like 4 years ago) passed health reform, passed law approving tax incentives for vets and more. Government is checks and balances. Tea Party Republicans publicly state obstruction is more important than governing. Who killed the jobs bill about a month ago? Republicans in Congress scuttled it for ear it would benefit people and make Pres. Obama look good. Criticize the Pres. but tell the whole story.

By the way guys. Romney, while Governor, ran up the state debt quite a bit before he left. He "cut taxes" while in reality transferred taxes to "fees" so hunting/fishing/drivers and other license fees were raised to compensate.

Randy, race is not an argument, unless, you truly think he was elected because he WAS black and not because his ideas in 2008 were more compelling. You can't argue it two ways. Ben, PBO controlled congress. He blocked and ignored the Republicans in his first 2 years. That is not a sign of leadership [A person that can bring various people together for a common goal]. PBO basically reaped what he had sown.

@Ben, sounds like what Malloy has done, giving hundreds of millions to billionaires. Now we find out he is saddling the next generation with his gifts to those that do not need them and bonding it out. Please! Let's see what Obama has done, railed against capitalists and Wall Street at every opportunity, and yes your retirement accounts are up. Congrats! Realize the market looks at the economy 6 to 12 months in ADVANCE, a leading economic indicator and the sum of the opinions in monetary form of hundreds of millions of people like you choosing to have funds invested or have funds sit in bonds or cash. Is it a bet on PBO or RR? Interesting question.
