Math support teacher Shay Belair is ready to tackle those tough math problems with students.
Belair, who also has experience as a classroom teacher, said that she enjoys working with students on math skills in a small group setting.
"Going from a classroom teacher to a smaller group, I get to know the students better, and I can cater to their learning styles to help them succeed," she said.
Belair was a classroom teacher at Manchester's Illing Middle School for four years and spent a year in Somers in a similar math support position. She recently took time off to stay home with her two children.
