Charges against former Tolland Middle School teacher Steven Tozier have been dropped, according to an email update from the Connecticut Statewide Automated Victim Information and Notification (SAVIN) Program, a notification service provided by the Connecticut Judicial Branch.
Tozier was charged with reckless endangerment and breach of peace last summer after he allegedly placed a 13-year-old male student in a headlock while students were walking to class.
He later resigned from his position at the middle school.
